With great pleasure we announce the fifth meeting of the Croatian Association for Cancer Research (Hrvatsko dru\u0161tvo za istra\u017eivanje raka, HDIR), a member of the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR).<\/span><\/h3>\n

The HDIR-5 Meeting starts with a new approach, this time subtitled “Translating Science to Medicine – Targets and Therapeutics”<\/em>, with a program divided into three days and covering the hottest cancer research topics – signaling networks, new therapies and cancer resistance, metastasis, invasion, apoptosis, ubiquination, immunity, genetics and epigenetics.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The meeting will be held in Zagreb, Croatia, at the Hotel International<\/a> (Miramarska 24, Zagreb) from November 8 to 10, 2018.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The goal of the HDIR-5 Meeting is again to promote cancer research in Croatia focused on the cooperation between basic research and clinical cancer management. This meeting will put an emphasis on international communication and cooperation, with speakers from many European countries. The Meeting provides opportunity for cancer researchers and clinicians to gather together and to establish a good working collaborations with each other and with other regional EACR national societies.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Original contributions by researchers and clinicians with an interest in cancer are more than welcome and encouraged. Your contribution to this meeting will mutually benefit all participants and help to make this event successful.<\/span><\/h3>\n
